Preliminary qualification results

On the date specified in the official recruitment schedule announced by the Rector, the University will publish the list of candidates initially qualified for admission.

Candidates included on this list must submit the required documents within the deadline specified in the recruitment schedule.

Please note: Being initially qualified for admission does not mean that you are already enrolled as a student. Final admission depends on submitting the required documents and fulfilling all applicable admission requirements.

How to submit your documents

All required documents must be submitted as originals or copies certified by a notary public as true copies of the originals.

Documents may be submitted:

  • in person by the candidate;
  • by an authorised representative acting on behalf of the candidate;
  • by post, addressed to the Recruitment Section.

Please ensure that your documents are complete and submitted within the deadline specified in the official recruitment schedule.

Required documents

Candidates initially qualified for admission must submit the following documents:

  • Application form — printed from the Online Recruitment System for Candidates.
  • Identity document — a copy of your passport or other accepted identity document, certified as a true copy of the original.
  • Secondary school leaving certificate — the original certificate, bearing an apostille or having been legalised, as applicable to the country in which it was issued.
    The required authentication procedure depends on the country of issue:
    • Apostille: generally applicable to public documents issued in countries where the Hague Apostille Convention is in force between the relevant countries.
    • Legalisation: generally applicable when the apostille procedure does not apply. This usually involves authentication by the competent authorities in the country of issue and legalisation by the appropriate Polish consular authority, in accordance with the applicable procedure.
      Please check the requirements applicable to your country before submitting your documents. An apostille or legalisation confirms the authenticity of the document; it does not replace the recognition of your secondary school certificate.
  • NAWA recognition statement — information issued by the Director of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) concerning your secondary school certificate, where required. If your certificate has already been recognised by the competent Polish education authority (Kuratorium), submit the relevant recognition decision instead, where applicable.
  • Secondary school transcript of grades — the original transcript or other required record of grades, duly authenticated or legalised where applicable.
  • Medical certificate — a certificate confirming that there are no medical contraindications to undertaking studies in the chosen program.
  • Health insurance document — valid health insurance, a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), or a document confirming that an insurer will cover the costs of medical treatment in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination certificate — documentation confirming vaccination against hepatitis B (HBV).
  • English language proficiency certificate — a document confirming English proficiency at a minimum of B2 level, in accordance with the applicable list of accepted certificates: download
  • Parental or legal guardian consent — required for candidates who are under 18 years of age, where applicable.
  • Other documents — any additional documents required by the University or specified by the Rector in accordance with the applicable recruitment rules.

Before submitting your documents

Requirements for authentication, legalisation, translations and recognition may vary depending on the country where your documents were issued and the admission path that applies to you.

Please check the applicable requirements and allow sufficient time to obtain any necessary certifications.

For further information, contact the Recruitment Section.

Failure to submit the required documents within the specified deadline may result in the loss of the opportunity to be admitted.

Candidates who have fulfilled all admission requirements, submitted the required documents within the specified deadlines and completed all necessary formalities will be formally enrolled as students of the Medical University of Lublin.

Congratulations — we look forward to welcoming you to the University!
