Transfer from other English language program to Medical University of Lublin is possible from from first to last business day of August for Medicine, Medical Dentistry and Nursing programs for students who have started their studies from Fall semester. For BIS programs (MD/DDS programs starting from Spring semester) the transfer applications are accepted from first to last business day of January.

In order to consider a transfer to English Division, a Candidate needs to be an active student of an English-language program and submit the confirmation for it.

Candidate needs to pass all courses from his current year and receive the promotion to a higher year. Failing any course will result in rejection of transfer.

For Medicine and Medical Dentistry Programs the transfer is possible up to the 3rd year. 

For Nursing Program transfer is possible only for the 2nd year.

Transferring to Midwifery Program is not possible.

A Candidate needs to send all documents listed below in order to be considered for transfer. If any document is missing, the application is considered invalid.

The transfer application must include:

• an application to the Dean of the appropriate Faculty;
• a document issued by the Candidate’s University, which certifies the Candidate's course of study:
  • a transcript of grades with ECTS points, form of credit and number of hours assigned to the course;
  • a certificate from the Dean's Office certifying the promotion to the next year of studies;
• a certified copy of high school diploma and the transcript of grades;
• syllabi (course descriptions) of all courses;
• a signed GDPR form;

High school diplomas issued abroad are recognized under international agreements or by the recognition of a certificate or the level of education done by the Education Superintendent.

It is allowed to submit the above mentioned documents as a photocopy certified by the Dean's Office of the University from which the student is transferring or confirmed by a notary public. The Candidate submits the documents in a white cardboard A4 folder.

What is really important is that the Candidate needs to send the complete package by himself. We do not accept documents from any third parties if they do not have the official legal power of attorney.

Transfer applications are accepted from the first to the last working day of August (the day of submitting the application is the day on which it is received by the Dean's Office of the appropriate Faculty).

Candidate need to pass entrance interview and qualification test - online examination testing  knowledge of terminology of life and mathematical science in English.

Both qualification test and entrance interview are conducted online:

• test consists of 20 MCQ questions and lasts 20 minutes,
• entrance interview consists of questions divided in two cathegories: Motivation, Empathy, Teamwork & Career aspirations in medical fields and Life & mathematical sciences terminology

A list of documents which are required from the Candidate qualified for the transfer:

• The original transcript of grades from University he transferred from;
• The original high school diploma and transcript;
• The original summer clerkship framework (only from Students exempted from summer clerkship in MUL by Dean’s decision)
• 1 printed photograph;
• The hepatitis type B vaccination certificate and certificate of an occupational medicine doctor;
• A certified copy of applicant’s passport;
• The International English Language Certificate with at least B2 level according to Regulation of Minister of Higher Education and Science. The list of all accepted certificates is published here.
